Get to know Marty...
Marty Grubbs is the Senior Pastor of Crossings Community Church. Driven by the foundational and ever-relevant elements of the church in Acts 2, Marty inspires his congregation to live out their mission statement: to be a Christ-centered church committed to live by faith, to be a voice of hope, and to be known by love. As part of this vision, the church built and operates Crossings Community Center and Clinic, a free medical/dental clinic and community center serving under-privileged and under-resourced neighbors in Oklahoma City, and established Crossings Christian School, a K-12 school on an adjacent campus and a satellite campus in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Crossings celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2019, with its first service held on Easter Sunday with an average attendance of 143 (Crossings was known as Westridge Hills then). Today, over 12,000 attend Crossings weekly across Crossings OKC and Edmond campuses, as well as online.
Marty received his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies and Sacred Music from Anderson University, and holds an honorary doctorate. Marty and his wife, Kim, have been married 37 years, have three grown children who all live in the Oklahoma City area: Tyler, who is married to Brittany; Kristin; and Cole, who is married to Karlie. Marty and Kim have four grandchildren: Teagan, Oliver, and Heidi (Tyler and Brittany) and Remi Kate (Cole and Karlie).
